Tomorrow's Leaders is the children's ministry department of my local church, New Hope Revival Ministries. We have 7 Sunday Schools based in Phoenix and Verulam. This year, God had led us to host a one day combined Sunday School AKA Holiday Club on the 1st of July 2017. This would provide the opportunity to revise what the children have been thought in the first half of the year and to minister to them through, praise & worship, short lessons, and arts & crafts. The purpose of this was for impartation and fellowship.
The children started off their day with breakfast together before praising God through awesome praise and worship. Thereafter the children were split into 7 classes. Teachers from the different Sunday schools adapted lessons from the syllabus. The lessons focused on the importance of being attentive and obedience.
My class was called Samuel are we focused on attentiveness. I touched on the importance of attentiveness. I used the ear and the wood duck to illustrate my points.
Each group was tasked with feeding back to everyone one on what they learned.
Thereafter, Pastor Lucanas Isaac ministered to the children.
And of course we ended the day with a yummy lunch.
