Admissions Procedure
As a result of the School’s exceptional academic record, there is a high demand for places at Mountview Secondary School. Early registration will ensure securing a place for your child at this excellent secondary institution.
You are required to produce the following documents for admission:
1. Identity Documents of both parents,
2. Identity Documents/birth certificate of learners,
3. Municipal bill indicating proof of physical address,
4. Latest report card (transfer card also needed at the end of the year)
5. An enrolment fee of R1500 is payable on admission (Forms part of the school fee)
Please note the following:
a. Mountview Secondary School is a fee-paying school.
b. Learners with outstanding academic results are eligible for bursaries in their grade 8 academic year.
UNiFORMS
1. School Blazers/Jerseys

Black/Navy blue blazers. [Not compulsory owing to cost]

Plain black/ school grey jerseys (“V” neck or button front cardigan-styled). No coloured jackets or jerseys are permitted.
2. Attire
2.1 GIRLS: UNIFORMS AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT VAWDAS.
2.1.1 Black and White checkered skirts (Knee-length) Please note that NO ALTERATIONS should be made to the length of skirt.
2.1.2 White school shirt with school monogram.
2.1.3 Plain white anklets/ black opaque stockings (Not transparent)
2.1.4 Black school shoes.
2.2 BOYS:
2.2.1 White school shirt with school tie OR school golf shirt and Regular school grey pants.
2.2.2 Plain black or grey socks (NO SECRET SOCKS)
2.2.3 Plain black school belts.
2.2.4 Black school shoes.
2.3 LO OUTFIT (BOYS/ GIRLS) – Available at Vawdas.
2.3.1 Black trackpants and white school T-shirt with school monogram.
2.3.2 Takkies – only allowed during LO sports activity period/ training sessions.
