HELP ROBERT COMPETE IN THAILAND!
Despite the many challenges that we face, our School Debating team has excelled over the years participating and excelling at local, provincial and National level.
We are extremely proud of our grade 9 learner Robert Mathenjwa, who achieved his South African Colours in Debating and will represent SA at the AWSDC (World Championship) in Bangkok, Thailand from the 23rd - 29th July 2017. Robert is ONE of TWO KZN speakers selected to represent SA.
We would love to afford Robert the opportunity to participate in this prestigious event as he has competed against the best debaters in the country and has emerged victorious against all odds. We humbly appeal to you to assist our learner in making this trip possible. This talented youngster possesses the public speaking skills that will shape confident future leaders and that is something we strive to continue.
The cost is approximately R22 000 ( including uniform, flights, accommodation, transfers, and meals ) and we would like to make this dream of participating in an international tournament a reality. We look forward to a favourable response. Your contribution in assisting Robert to make this a reality will be greatly appreciated.
