Mountview Secondary Hall Project
Mountview Secondary School recently launched Stage One of our school Hall Project.
The culmination of many years of planning and fundraising towards a school hall is finally being realised.
At the school's 40th anniversary celebration (2016), the launch of the Hall Project was presented as below.
Stage One:
The shelter will be large enough to accommodate our entire school population comfortably. It will also serve the following core events :
1. An alternative morning assembly area
2. Emergency assembly point
3. Various sporting activities
4. Sheltered area for learners during breaks.
5. Team teaching
6. Team building exercises
Stage Two:
Flooring, Stage, Drainage Systems, Walkway.
Stage Three:
Convert Shelter to a Hall
Phase One of the, which is the steel structured shelter was completed recently.
AFRI-PILING AND ENGINEERING have been appointed to embark on the building of phase one.
The projected completion of Stage One is July 2017.
We would like to place on record our appreciation to all who have contributed to this project.
With the continued support of our staff, parents, community, sponsors, ex-learners and current learners. We hope to complete all three phases by December 2020.
