MVSS at TONVER Finals
Mountview Secondary School had 14 teams qualify for the TONVER Finals on 4th & 5th of August 2017. Many were placed in the first two positions. The tournament was a gruelling one with our U14 boys going into extra time eagerly urged on my team coach Mr. L Gounden and Dr. A P Narain.
They finally went into a penalty shootout and won the day with extreme jubilation. The U19 division which is the highlight of the TONVER Games was a high paced match between Fairbreeze Secondary and Mountview Secondary School.
The match was fairly evenly levelled with both teams having equal ball position up to the end. Fairbreeze Secondary was eagerly supported by Principal, Mr. A Maharaj who was on the touch lines with Mr. Siva Govender and Mr Chabilal.
MVSS tried hard to make a come back finally lost to Fairbreeze Secondary School. Final score 1-0.
