The launch of MVSS E-Learning Centre
Mountview Secondary School officially launched our new E-Learning Centre (ELC) sponsored by Flanders Quarry on the 25th of April.
Mountview Secondary School is a proudly South African success story, where socio-economic barriers have been exceeded by many of our learners in the attainment of outstanding success.
With the growing challenges, we welcomed and applauded the commitment and generous sponsorship of Mr Karl Stott and Mr Leroy White of Flanders Quarry in ensuring that more learners have access to technology and information through.
The event was a tremendous success attended by neighbouring principals, the Billy Nair Circuit Manager, Mr SA Chetty, ward Councillor, Mr Johnson Chetty, sponsors from Flanders Quarry and learners from 2019 student council (RCL).
Principal, Mrs N Sivjattan expressed her gratitude and heartfelt appreciation. "On behalf of our staff, SGB and learners, we would like to thank Flanders Quarry for your generosity, the time and effort you've given to ensure that our learners will have access to effective resources. That is a priceless gift.
Our school depends on the generosity of donors and our generous donors are the backbone of our school. We are constantly trying to find ways to enhance the quality of education at our school and pride ourselves in upholding our mission, ‘Striving for Excellence’"
Mountview Secondary School looks forward to creating an environment conducive of learning and collaboration. We are grateful to Flanders Quarry for investing this vision and encourage communities, business and ex-learners to contact us should you also feel lead to invest in our learners.
